Right behind the request for more recipes comes the question, "what should I drink?" For most clients, skipping Saturday night cocktails is out of the question. So, what to drink. Carbs considered, stick with distilled spirits (vodka, whiskey, rum), which contain no sugars. Tequila has been winning the hearts of health experts as it comes from agave, but the jury is still out on whether agave's anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties end up in your shot glass. Drink spirits on the rocks or mix with club soda and fresh lime juice or a twist. Prosecco, an Italian sparkling dry wine, has 2 carbs per glass. Serve it in a coupe for smaller bubbles - and less bloating! Its quick fermentation process and shorter shelf-life than champagne mean it's fresher. Plus it contains less alcohol than wine, so it's relatively face-plant proof!
